We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent General Manager to join our thriving team within the Scientific industry. This role is pivotal in overseeing the operations within a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in processing and a proven track record in managing teams within a scientific, regulated environment. This position requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all daily operations within a regulated scientific environment, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall business performance.
• Leading and managing a team of professionals, fostering a positive working environment and encouraging continuous professional development.
• Coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth and legally compliant business operations.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to achieve these improvements.
• Ensuring all activities adhere to regulatory standards, reducing the risk of non-compliance and associated penalties.
• Making high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
• Reporting to the board of directors and keeping them informed about company operations and progress towards goals.
• Building alliances and partnerships with other organizations to support business growth.
• Identifying and addressing problems and opportunities for the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be a plus.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role within a regulated scientific environment.
• Proven experience in processing within a scientific, regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations and legislations.
• Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and implement them successfully.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance.
• High level of commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
