Jobsite Industrial Rental Services, has an immediate need for a Shipper/Receiver/Customer Service person, based out of the Edmonton branch. This is an hourly position. Applicants with previous Warehousing and Customer Service experience in the Industrial marketplace would be an asset, but not necessary. Key Qualifications include.
- Ensure effective control and materials movement.
- Comply with the guidelines and regulations of Health, Safety and Environment.
- Receiving and verification of all material for various business units.
- Shipping and verification of all material for various customers.
- Distribute materials to appropriate locations.
- Manage inventory and products on a daily basis.
- Prepare orders for pick-up by internal and external clients.
- Perform shipping operations.
- Inventory control of existing projects on a weekly basis.
- Contribute to compliance with health and safety objectives
- The ability to keep the workspaces and warehouse well organized and tidy,
- load and unload customers/outside trucking companies, with a positive attitude;
- A self-starter with an eye for details and a keen sense of time-management
- Effective planning skills Good communication and people skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and the ability to multitask and prioritize
- And other duties as assigned by your manager
Additional Qualifications
- Forklift license
- Warehousing and or shipping receiving experience
- Technical aptitude of Jobsite equipment and operations would be considered an asset.
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
