We are seeking a Shop Labourer who is aspiring to reach their potential in the field of construction. Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Shop Labourer is responsible for supporting the AAROC Equipment shop and wash bay. The role will include the ability to perform general workshop duties, support shop team members with the workload, and picking-up/delivering parts as necessary.
Environment
While supporting a construction environment you will be working mainly within the AAROC Equipment shop. Travel to off-site locations will be required to pick-up and deliver parts as needed. Saturday shifts will be required.
How you will make an IMPACT
Clean and maintain shop facilities and equipment
Pick-up parts and deliver to shop or required job site
Use and maintain power washer and attachments
Remove trash and recycling
Work with and understand several cleaning products and ensure the correct application of products
Ensure cleaning products are stored in a safe manner and that supplies are restocked as needed
Complete logbooks as necessary
Report damages
Assist with minor maintenance and repair work when requested
Drive vehicles as needed
Wear and maintain any required safety equipment
Perform other related work as required and assigned
