Johnson & Johnson Looking for Regional Sr Director Deliver Canada – MedTech Supply Chain at Markham, ON Full Time

Role summary

This Senior Director role is responsible for the MedTech Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Supply Chain Deliver organization in Canada and Pharm Distribution. You will be accountable for J&J regional Shared Distribution Center (SDC), Customer Services for MedTech, and Pharm (Distribution). This position is a cross-segment role that is responsible for leading and executing the Americas MedTech Deliver Strategic plan, crafting and implementing strategies and programs to drive value for the business in Canada. Specifically, the individual would be responsible for setting the strategic direction aligned with the Americas Deliver and Global Deliver strategies and Canadian MedTech board, ensuring operational excellence for the revenue cycle; developing superior Customer collaboration capabilities and relationships; and providing oversight for the order-to-cash process. This person is also a member of the Commercial Leadership Team for Medical Devices and is also part of Americas MedTech Deliver Leadership Team.

Major responsibilities

• Lead cross-sector, matrixed team Supply Chain Deliver professionals to improve the Customer Experience related to doing business with J&J while driving compliant, effective, and efficient capabilities that enhance the value of our commercial companies and our brands.
• Manage relationship with Third Party Logistics (3PL) provider for Canadian distribution operations.
• Engage with the multi-matrixed collaborative relationships between Supply Chain and Commercial organizations for the J&J business in Canada.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Deliver North America Leadership Team, CFO’s and Company General Managers to develop integrated long term long strategies and drive customer experience, distribution and transportation capabilities.
• Represent one face of J&J Supply Chain to trade customer(s) for JJ MedTech Companies.
• Develop superior Customer collaboration capabilities and relationships which enhance our mutual success/growth and reduce cost and complexity within the supply chain.
• Acts as the Customer Champion to build collaboration capabilities and relationships, bringing customer-specific and industry leading requests and opportunities back into J&J. Champions voice of customer with end to end Supply Chain partners and other functional areas to satisfy customer requirements.
• Seek and leverage synergies across Supply Chain Deliver and deliver against Cost Improvement Program (CIP) targets.
• Responsible for annual business planning and financial management including systems and capabilities investment with leverage of cost as precent of sales.
• Collaborate with US in development of Americas process capabilities.
• Ensure optimal, efficient execution of all tactical customer logistics functions (customer services, distribution, transportation, compliance), achieving targeted metrics and cost as precent of sales
• Develop and operationalize policies, systems, and processes that drive / support Go-to-Market strategies and sales growth.
• Ensure consistency of approach, harmonization of process and compliance to QA, SOX standards.
• Oversees end-to-end Supply Chain Deliver operations for Canada and occasionally oversees time bound projects or processes that may have impact/engagement with other regions.

Qualifications

Relevant knowledge and experience

• University degree required (MBA an asset)
• 15+ years progressive leadership experience in Distribution and Customer Service roles.
• Strong knowledge of key business processes and technical requirements related to this role.
• Direct customer facing experience is required.
• Performance Excellence / Six Sigma – Green Belt / Lean Manufacturing / Digital Transformation experiences an asset.
• Multi-sector experiences and Canadian market knowledge.
