Primary Responsibilities:
HR Support – advise and provide administrative support to HR Business Advisors, managers and employees on queries relating to HR policies, procedures and benefits. Act as an intermediary and escalation point for managers and employees where required.
Engagement with lines of business in Canada for employee relations matters, organizational changes and other strategic initiatives both proactively and reactively.
Project Support – key stakeholder and ownership of core projects and support for key HR initiatives (i.e. immigration, mergers and acquisitions).
Reporting and Analytics – Reporting and data analysis, including people metrics scorecards, diversity metrics, demographics, management committee summaries, attrition and Adhoc reporting.
Performance Evaluation Support – Assist HR Business Advisors during the annual performance review cycle. Prepare documents for talent reviews and calibration sessions.
Compensation – Assist HR Business Advisors during the compensation planning process by ensuring audits are completed and other year-end tasks as needed.
Risk and Controls – Support practices and policies required to meet the risk and controls environment goal.
HR Policy Management – Ownership of the local and global HR policy process with attention to regulatory changes and annual review.
Skills and Experience:
Three to five plus years of experience as a Business Analyst, HR Generalist/Business Partner or other HR-related discipline
HR Service Delivery – Have a solid understanding of HR operational processes and manage escalated inquiries with other partner groups.
Client focused with ability to build and manage relationships with stakeholders, managers, employees, HR and Line of Business functions
Strong ability to think creatively, identify alternatives and navigate in systems and networking to resolve issues
Ability to work independently, think and act proactively, strong critical thinking skills required
Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources Management or equivalent Human Resources experience preferred
Knowledge and understanding of HR systems preferred (i.e. me@jpmc, Workforce Analytics CompConnect, etc.)
Ability to handle multiple demands and shifting priorities; operate with a sense of urgency and ambiguity
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skill along with a strong reporting and analytics background
Strong written and oral communication skills
