About the Role
Squaredance is looking for Sr. Accounting Analyst who is excited by the prospect of joining a high-growth tech company and scaling our finance function. You will report to Finance Manager, working together with 2 other analysts and Head of Finance. This position will provide exposure to a variety of finance, accounting, reporting and treasury functions and will provide a fantastic learning opportunity to work with a seasoned Tech leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the timely close of month/quarter/year-end accounting process for consolidated and standalone entities
Oversee and review work of junior analysts, including but not limited to customer billings, marketplace payouts, employee payroll and accounting journal entries
Prepare financial analysis and forecasts of cash flow, financial performance, customer profitability, etc.
Manage Financial and KPI reporting requirements for key stakeholders and our leadership team
Provide support on special projects in collaboration with our leadership team as required
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other relevant
2-3 years of financial reporting and accounting experience
Must be CPA or CPA candidates
Excellent Excel skills
Remote work, with occasional in-office work days
Bonus Points
Experience with Big 8 Accounting firms
Experience or exposure to Startup / High Growth / Technology / Software companies
Understanding of SaaS, Marketplace and PLG frameworks
