Jumi Toronto Looking for Server at North York, ON Full Time

Jumi Gozen Bar is a new Japanese gozen bar located near the Fairview Mall and the subway station.

We offer a full-service dining, beverages sales, as well as take-out sushi. We offer seasonal menu, “gozen” style Japanese cuisine experience to our guests different from other Japanese restaurants.

We are looking for part time and full time servers who will be responsible for taking orders and presenting food to our customers. Primary Duties include taking food and drink orders, and ensuring that tables are served properly and that all payments are collected.

Server Responsibilities:

• Answer menu questions and make drink recommendations

• Maintain table appearance

• Course food items appropriately

• Perform side work and end-of-shift closeout tasks

Server Requirements:

• Prior serving experience required

• Knowledge about Japanese cuisine

• Knowledge about wine and beverage pairings

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
