Join this manufacturer of structural steel products for building envelopes, which is strongly recognized in its field of activity and promotes a sustainable development program focused on the impact of construction materials on the environment.
You will be primarily responsible for developing relationships with architectural firms and designers in order to promote our products and to share your technical expertise in order to propose appropriate products and provide innovative solutions for industrial, commercial and institutional projects.
As part of a team and reporting to the Architectural Specification Manager, you will be responsible for:
– Supporting sales growth by maintaining and developing sustainable business relationships with the architectural and design firm customer base.
– Providing and utilizing technical expertise to increase awareness and specification of our products on projects.
– Organize lunch and learns to present our products, their characteristics and technically train customers on existing and new products.
– Be proactive with various firms to support the number of commercial, institutional and industrial projects in the territory by educating, collaborating and proposing appropriate solutions at the pre-design or design stage of projects.
– Actively network face-to-face with specifiers, designers and architectural firms to increase the visibility of our products in the marketplace and build brand awareness.
– Ensure the exchange of information with our internal and external teams to facilitate communication and final sales to installers.
– Ensure customer satisfaction to contribute to customer retention and market expansion.
– Develop skills on multiple products and keep abreast of trends.
– Facilitate your networking by attending trade shows, conferences and association meetings.
Your Qualifications:
– DEC in architectural technology or related field.
– 5 years of experience in specifying to architectural and design clients.
– Experience in the field of steel, architectural panels, curtain wall, metal panels, insulation or building envelope.
– Ability to read blueprints to understand architectural drawings.
– Good communicator with excellent organizational and time management skills.
– Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of decision making and provide win-win solutions to clients.
– Results oriented, team player who is also confident working independently.
– Must have a valid driver’s license.
– Fluent French and intermediate English.
