Overall purpose of this position:
The purpose of this position is to ensure coffee packaging targets are met safely and efficiently in accordance with Just Us! Food safety, quality and operational standards.

Operations Responsibilities:

• Coordinate packaging duties at each station and package roasted coffee, daily
• Maintain regular communication with roaster and shipper to synchronize product flow, daily
• Monitor yield targets and address any variances, daily
• Maintain clean, functional, and professional packaging stations daily as per Just Us! food safety, quality, and operational standards
• Conduct QC checks and maintain quality standards for packaged coffee products, daily
• Ensure adequate resources are available for packaging requirements, daily
• Adheres to all health and safety and environmental workplace laws.
• Adheres to all co-op policies and procedures.

Desirable Criteria:

• First Aid Certificate
• Experience in the coffee industry
• Experience working in a production setting
• Experience using Syspro
• Ability to use Microsoft Office 365

Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to comfortably move and extend arms for prolonged periods of time
• Carrying up to 50lbs
