Juventus Consulting and Recruitment Inc. Looking for IFRS 17 Financial Analyst at Toronto, ON Full Time

We are looking for a team of Senior Financial Analysts/Managers to support our client’s IFRS 17 implementation.

Senior level. Will work closely with VP.

What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource?

• Support the IFRS17 workstreams in the readiness of the organization for IFRS 17 – e.g. developing requirements and where appropriate, changes to processes, and engaging stakeholders in the Business Groups and Business Units for feedback
• Understanding and developing solutions for the impact of IFRS 17 on how the organization’s insurance businesses measure and manage financial risk; capital requirements; reinsurance; financial performance; business planning; and product design & pricing
• Model development under IFRS 17 including controls and assumptions for financial metrics

How many years’ experience are you looking for?
Minimum 5-8 years experience in an accounting or finance related role

Critical Skills or Must Haves?

• Professional accountant (CPA) with expertise in IFRS, life insurance accounting, and financial control knowledge
• In-depth experience in financial reporting and investment accounting

Is specific industry experience required? Insurance/Banking

Team Size and Environment? (Open concept, loud, interactive, etc.) Virtual – Finance and Project Teams

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $85.00-$95.00 per hour
