Our client, a boutique accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their intimate team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits and reviews, and prepare financial documents following ASPE or IFRS.
• Streamline year-end engagements and tax return preparation.
• Manage files for new clients and businesses, handle multiple files.
• Handle CRA inquiries, provide analytical support, and prepare responses.
• Prepare and review various tax-related documents.
• Cultivate positive client relationships, and address requests promptly.
• Maintain communication with managers, and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to business development, and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation or completed CFE.
• 2 to 4 years of public accounting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP, ASPE, and Canadian taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting and tax software.
• Understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development.
