Job Title: Accounting/Payroll Administrator
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
Starting Pay Rate: $65,000 per year
Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (hybrid – 3 days in office)
Work Location: Windsor, Ontario
Our client is currently seeking an Accounting/Payroll Administrator for a permanent position in Windsor, ON.
Responsibilities:
Full cycle payroll processing weekly, including expense and commission reports (2 companies, 30 employees total)
All remittances, including government, support, RSP, benefits
Monthly reconciliations, including GL accounts, bank/credit cards
Monthly cross company functions – entries, reports & reconciliations (3 small companies)
Month end AR/AP review & reports
Other smaller duties including some data entry, billing coordination for one of the companies & overseeing automated payment processing.
About you:
2-3 years of accounting and payroll (full-cycle) experience
College diploma or post-secondary education in accounting and/or payroll
Solid understanding of accounting principle
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications and accounting software QuickBooks
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
