Kelly Services Looking for Sourcing Leader at Remote Full Time

This position is potentially temp to perm and is a remote, work from home position.

The Sourcing Leader role is pivotal in driving savings and efficiencies through management of supplier base. Use experience/expertise to execute functional strategy; leverages in-depth understanding of business strategy to accomplish work. Has technical and analytical abilities to solve problems

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with existing Sourcing leaders to support categories through separation including separation contracts mitigation and additional spend.
• Partnering with key business stakeholders to support the needs of the business.
• Develops solutions and delivers on priorities for the designated scope. Maintains metrics for sourcing scope and identifies new areas of opportunity to deliver or exceed targets.
• Implement Indirect Sourcing strategy within the contractor position’s agreed scope and in line with global initiatives.
• Owns achieving Indirect savings targets, leading, and running project execution across their scope
• Responsible for risk management in supplier base ensuring all compliance and quality standards are met.
• Liaise with stakeholders and Sourcing colleagues across the organization to understand /share best practices and leverage expertise.
• Identify and own local and cross SBU supply base. Leverage category contracts into assigned SBU to maximize opportunities.
• Drive business metrics affected by indirect Sourcing, identify new areas of cost out and implement operating efficiency.
• Provide feedback and support to other Sourcing Leaders.

Quality Specific Goals:

• Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Knowledge and understanding of Purchasing Controls Procedure and associated Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that all purchased product and services conform to specified requirements.
• Develop and maintaining of fully qualified and compliant supply base.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of work experience in sourcing or procurement or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical discipline with 2 years of work experience in Supply Chain.
2. 2 years of Sourcing/contracting experience or 3 years experience in the business/function using the assigned commodity services with technical depth/knowledge in the subject matter area.
3. Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).

7. Demonstrated ability to identify & implement process improvements/best practices
8. High level of organization skills, analytical thinking, and facilitation skills, including solid presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
9. Greenbelt or Black Belt certification preferred.
10. Experience with basic data analytics and tools including Excel.

Salary: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
