Who We’re Looking For
As a FOH Server your primary task is providing fantastic experience to our customers. You are the first point of contact for thousands of patrons annually, so bringing energy and enthusiasm to the job is extremely important.
The successful candidate will be an experienced bartender who can run a busy room. You should have at least some experience being a shift lead or key holder at a bar or restaurant. You will work alone for stretches of time, and will be expected to act as a conduit to our Hospitality Ops Manager.
While formal training is not a prerequisite, applicants should have a passion and drive to build a career in craft beer. Most importantly, we need people with outgoing, infectious personalities that fit with our vibe and share our values of integrity, quality and community.
Reports to: Shift Leader/Supervisor and FOH Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Opening & closing duties
- Maintain accurate inventory of all menu items, dry goods, 3rd party beverages, etc.
- Complete daily cash in/out process
- Prepare and serve drinks to patrons on patio (modified for COVID purposes)
- Stock, organize and sell tall cans from our on-site retail store
- Stock, organize, and maintain clean bar area
- Accurately assess customers need/preferences and make recommendations
- Educate customers: company history, beer concepts, style guidelines, brewing process
- Ensure cleanliness of FOH environment at all times, including patio
- Effectively resolve customer complaints/concerns
Technical Competencies and requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a key holder/Shift Lead. Preference given to experience in brewpub, high quality food establishment, and/or craft beer bar
- Valid Smart Serve
- Passion for beer
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented, team player with high personal integrity
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
- Ability to lift full beer kegs using dolly or pump truck
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.00-$17.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and customers must follow social distancing and mask protocols. Both parties are required to wear masks while indoors at all times. We provide PPE and ensure all staff maintain a strict cleaning and sanitation schedule.
