• Efficiently manage customer transactions using cash registers.
• Accurately scan products and verify pricing information.
• Collect payments, both in cash and credit, and provide appropriate change.
• Issue receipts, process refunds, and distribute tickets as necessary.
• Actively promote additional products and introduce new offerings to customers.
• Skillfully handle customer complaints, offering guidance and relevant information.
• Extend courteous greetings to customers upon arrival and departure.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of checkout areas.
• Thoroughly document transactions on balance sheets and promptly report any discrepancies.
• Skillfully package items, including bagging, boxing, or gift-wrapping.
Requirements and Skills:
• Previous experience as a Cashier or a comparable sales role.
• Basic proficiency in PC operations.
• Familiarity with electronic devices such as cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Strong mathematical aptitude for accurate transaction handling.
• Excellent communication skills and effective time management abilities.
