Kespired Education offers individual & personalized support to students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits. Now ,we are hiring a native English tutor who is experienced in teaching English reading (literary) and writing for students from G3-12.
Who You Are:
- Confident tutoring English (Grades 3-12) and knowledgeable about the BC English Curriculum, including English Literature
- BC certified or on track to complete certification is an asset
- Strong English teaching/tutoring background
- Ability to organize and multi-task
- Passionate about teaching and coaching, and love building rapport with students
- Be punctual and willing to give feedback about students rgularly
- Be able to give detailed comments on students’ assignments
- Strong motivational skills and an ability to keep students on task
- Excellent command of English and strong communication skills
- Available during evenings and/or weekends. This position needs to be filled immediately as a part-time position.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- teaching: 3 years (preferred)
- tutoring: 3 years (preferred)
