HEALTH & SAFETY SPECIALIST
As part of the Keurig Dr. Pepper family, this role will support Van Houtte Coffee Services, a coffee equipment and product supplier with technical equipment maintenance services and supporting warehouse and distribution centers.

We are looking for an outgoing and energized Health & Safety Specialist to support 12 small to medium sized locations with approximately 225 employees. This role will report directly to the National H&S Manager of Van Houtte Coffee Services and is one of two health and safety specialist.
What You’ll Do

Support the continuous improvement of the National H&S Management System.

Lead managers through the implementation of National Standards.

Inspect branches, build and support continuous improvement action plans.

Support H&S Committees through regular coaching.

Develop Safe Work Procedures for front-line employees.
-
Provide or coordinate employee safety training and certification.
-
Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Maintain accurate records and perform various levels of data analysis.

Develop various presentations to support meeting communications or projects.

Maintain Contract Management platforms (I.e. Complyworks, Avetta, ISNetwork)

Maintain regular stakeholder meetings and associated administration.

Support manager and front-line employee questions and concerns.

Other tasks as determined between H&S Specialist and National H&S Manager
Who You Are
-
A H&S Specialist with a minimum 2yr Certificate and 3 years’ experience.

Bilingual English and French (written and speaking)

Self-motivated and comfortable with 25-50% travel
-
A great communicator that can develop and maintain strong professional relationships.

Comfortable with technology, Microsoft office and learning new data management systems.
-
Level-headed and calm under pressure should emergency situations occur.

Organization with great time management skills to handle competing priorities.
