What you will do:
Manage and coordinate cross functional teams to ensure requirements are validated and aligned to execute new product initiatives. Requirements include, but are not limited to: sourcing location, capacity planning, production planning, transportation, warehousing and master data management.
Work with Brand, Sales, RGM, Engineering, Quality, R&D and leadership to understand project requirements and development of project timelines.
Work closely with US counterparts on projects involving US in-house manufacturing sites and co-manufacturers.
Lead onboarding of new partners and NPI SC process while ensuring strong execution from a SC point of view.
Own the execution of product transitions to ensure minimal impact to service level and obsolescence
Lead all Supply Chain Planning development and integration activities for assigned projects.
Work with individuals at all levels to ensure successful and flawless execution of assigned programs and projects.
Develop and keep track of SC NPI checklist for all NPI and ensure project is being approved by all key functions.
Communicate project requirements and launch strategy to manufacturing plants as required
Manage and update any tracking or reporting tools needed to monitor accuracy to commitments for each project
Support and/or lead issue resolution to identify root causes gaps in project timelines and deliverables for supply chain to prevent reoccurrence and improve project management processes
Foster a team environment where open communication and continuous improvement is valued
Oversee the development of project plans, project schedules, resource plans, etc. as required for strategic initiatives.
Lead as an influential leader.
Make recommendations to leaders to ensure successful execution of projects.
Lead and coach a team including Project Managers and a Project Coordinator
Support the Innovation team in building the NPI project pipeline and calendar
What you will have:
Bachelor’s degree Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply-Chain Management or related field, MBA desirable
10 years+ supply chain experience and experience SAP or similar ERP system required.
Understanding of manufacturing concepts
Knowledge of New Product Introduction processes highly preferred
Experience in Consumer Products preferred
Experience in sales & marketing would be considered as an asset
Expertise in common knowledge-worker tools (Windows, Office Professional, Visio, etc.) and specialized project/program management software (MS Project, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Collaborative, appreciative style of management and engagement with others.
