Keystone Education Inc. Looking for Mathematics and Science Teachers at Richmond, BC Full Time

At Keystone Education tutorial center, we help build important learning skills for our students and support them in building a strong foundation while providing guidance for the school curriculum. With over 26 years of service in Richmond, BC, we have built a strong sense of community and supportive education program in the lower mainland.

We are currently seeking for Math instructors to teach our specially designed program to our students from Grade 1 to Grade 12.

We are also looking for Science teachers (Science 8, 9, 10, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology)

You will be responsible for the same students for the whole school year and have the opportunity to manage your own classroom. Teaching material will be provided and your main job is to focus on providing the best education to your students.

Qualification:

• Mathematics teaching experience
• Sciences teaching experience
• Familiar with BC high school curriculum
• Have good classroom management skills
• Good rapport and excellent communication skills
• Punctual, organized, and be able to multitask
• Be able to teach at most 6 students at the same grade level in a class
• BC teaching certification is a great asset

Responsibilities include:

• Training (paid hours) – go through the curriculum and learn it
• Teach a class of up to six students
• Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
• Work with children to determine skill sets
• Be punctual
• Provide constructive feedback to parents after class
• Follow opening/closing duties daily

Schedule specifically hiring:

• Wednesday (4:00pm – 6:30pm)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 3-20 per week

Salary: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
