KFL&A Public Health is a local public health agency with over 200 staff volunteers who deliver public health programs and services to the people of the KFL&A area. The IT team has an immediate opening for an IT Support Analyst.
The IT Support Analyst, under the direction of the Manager, is responsible for establishing, operating, maintaining and coordinating the use of local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs), hardware, software and related computer equipment. The IT Support Analyst sets up and maintains Internet and intranet Web sites and Web-server hardware and software and monitors and optimizes network connectivity and performance and provides timely and accurate support for end users within the organization’s computing environment, including installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining PC and peripheral hardware to ensure optimal performance. The IT Support Analyst also monitors and troubleshoots potential security risks via firewall, dark trace, and email security software, and maintain on-site and off-site backups of servers and data.
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary 2-year diploma in computer science, network administration, Web technology or a related field from a recognized school; current Microsoft MCP Certification in currently deployed desktop Operating System, Current A+ Certification; and 3-4 years relevant technical support experience in a corporate networked computing environment.
