We are currently looking for a enthusiastic individual to join our team for 10 weeks in the role of Staff Training Officer – Human Resources as part of the Canada summer job grant program.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Conduct culture building training
• FISH! philosophy for employees across locations
• Through an engaging training delivery, create an environment to deliver incredible customer services to our families, improve team work and trust through the four practices of the FISH! philosophy
• Hold meetings and presentations on learning materials when necessary
• Plan and deliver training activities for new hires as well as current employees
• Assist employees in the process of building a team-based culture at each campus location
• Plan and develop monitored simulations and problem-solving scenarios
• Ensure that creative, interactive, multimedia presentations are created and utilized
• Maintain correct and accurate training records
• Collect feedback from employees regarding the effectiveness of several training methods.”

The successful role holder will need to have a positive attitude, quick thinking, problem solving and customer service skills and the ability to fulfill competing priorities.

This position is a part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program with funding provided by Service Canada. Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered:

• Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person on whom refugee protections has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
• And legally entitled to work according to relevant provincial legislation and regulations (international students on a work/study permit are not eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs Program)

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor Degree /Certificate in HR and/or related fields.

TIME SPENT WORKING TOGETHER

This Position is 35 Hours per Week, Monday-Friday. The Position will start in May 2022 for 10 weeks.
