Requirements:
- Must be able to travel to Waterloo Region.
- Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing or outdoor environment.
- Knowledge of grades, levels and trenching
- Previous construction experience
- Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to recognize, communicate and eliminate hazards.
Responsibilities:
- Work with hand tools, dig holes, expose utilities.
- Use a laser, read drawings interpret field survey
- Handle materials, assist in preparing crew, use equipment.
- Ability to read and understand locates
- Inspects and maintains the equipment daily
- Complies with Company Safety Program.
- Organization of project details, locates, performance objectives.
- Communication of any discrepancy.
- Ability to plan ahead.
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday.
- Overtime.
- Weekend availability.
- Ability to work 10-14hours a day.
Work Location: Mostly Waterloo Region some travel in Southern Ontario.
