We are seeking a proactive and detail orientated Safety Lead join our team.

As the Safety Lead with Klondike, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a Safe workplace.

Our ideal candidate is a proactive, detail orientated, highly skilled Safety Lead with strong communication skills and strong Safety experience in commercial, institutional and residential construction projects.

Job Responsibilities: .

• Develop, implement and evaluate health and safety manual & programs
• Review and implement site specific Safe Work Practices & Safe Job Procedures
• Implement Health and Safety standards for all construction sites
• Maintain and replenish required Safety and first aid gear
• Manage all Work Safe Claims and Health and Safety related issues
• Participates and supports staff in conducting effective incident investigations that identify underlying causes and effective corrective measures
• Create and review incident reports, monthly statistics, inspection reports and identify undesirable trends and provide appropriate recommendations
• Chair Joint Health & Safety Meetings
• The point of contact for all COVID related issues Implement and Manage the injury management program
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Possession of BC Construction Safety Officer (CSO) or National Construction Safety Officer designation (NCSO)
• Class 5 Drivers Licenses Good time management, with ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Professional attitude with a passion in Health & Safety
• Comfortable in providing training
