KLS Earthworks & Environmental is hiring a Junior Construction Estimator. We are looking for a student or recent graduate who is enthusiastic and safety conscious to work full-time in Calgary. This role is ideally suited for a flexible individual looking to grow their experience with an exciting company. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take on a broad range of tasks will bring considerable value. The ideal candidate is a Civil Engineering Student, Drafting & Design Student, or Construction Estimating Student.
Responsibilities:
Build & Compare a Surface
Competing Take-Offs
Supporting Estimating Team
Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Ability to work within tight deadlines
Strong critical thinking, trouble shooting & problem solving skills
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Ability to work over time as required
Strong attention to detail
