Krahn Engineering is looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to join their Abbotsford team as a Project Coordinator! The Project Coordinator’s role is to assist in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. They will coordinate with the project team and the clients to oversee the progress of the deliverables and ensure all standards are met.
This role is all about building technology, design discipline coordination and drafting production.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of project-related administration duties, including project tracking and project reports.
Develop the architectural design documentation as needed under direct professional supervision.
Coordinate between architectural and engineering disciplines and design staff to streamline and standardized project delivery.
Maintain regular and timely communications with project team members and clients to ensure necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve issues and to avoid
Provide support to the project team during the construction phase with requests for information, drawing reviews, and design changes.
Conduct site visits and reviews of projects in the construction phase.
Organize, attend and participate in project meetings.
Assist with the project closeout process.
Monitor and coordinate multiple tasks and projects at once.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 year experience in an administrative environment and in a professional environment, ideally in consulting engineering
Post Secondary diploma in a related field
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organization skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Meticulous records maintenance skills
Effective written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization
A self-starter and team player
Strong customer service orientation
A valid drivers license is required
