Looking to get the most out of your upcoming internship?
Hatch is seeking a Civil Co-op Student with interest in Transit engineering for a 4–12 month internship starting September 2024. Reporting to Transit Project Engineers, you will support offices globally working from our Calgary office.

Responsibilities
- Working as part of a design team, assisting with conceptual, preliminary and detailed design; site inspection; design calculations, report writing.
- Coordination with engineers, designers and related disciplines as required to assist with project deliverables.
- Preparing design submissions and other technical documents.
Education And Experience
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a Civil Design College Program.
- Proficiency in Civil3D, is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
- Problem solving skills and analytical.

- Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects.
- Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges.
