KWB Chartered Professional Accountants is growing and is looking for an amazing professional to add to our team! Are you someone who enjoys the variety that public practice provides and is driven to see our team provide the best client experience possible? You think like an entrepreneur and enjoy helping our entrepreneurial clients excel because of the understanding and advice you provide them. You enjoy interacting directly with clients.
We are looking for someone full-time but can also accommodate less than full-time, with flexible hours and the option to work remotely when needed.
Your role on the team will include a variety of responsibilities working with a wide range of exciting clientele – the small to medium sized businesses that are driving Alberta’s economy. You will be preparing financial statements on a review basis for about 50-60% of your time and the rest of your time will be spent preparing compilations, completing tax returns and interacting with clients. Through the process, you will be finding improvements that clients can implement into their operations. You will also help to develop tax planning strategies to minimize their overall taxes.
To provide the most up to date experience, we operate in a fully digital environment and embrace cloud-based applications to minimize the mundane work and free us up for the exciting, high-value work our clients want.
As an ideal candidate you will have your CPA designation and at least 2-3 years of experience in public practice preparing reviews and compilations. You enjoy public practice and are looking for a firm that celebrates you as an individual and allows you to learn and grow in the areas you want, all the while providing a great work environment. You are an effective and professional communicator and have a focus on client service and partnering with clients to achieve their goals. You understand technology and that client’s needs are rapidly changing and you want to be on the forefront of this movement.
