Annual Paid Vacation: 3 weeks (during the school year)

1. Kindergarten French Teacher
2. Elementary French Teacher
Job Description:
We are searching for a reliable and enthusiastic French teacher to join our school team for our 2022-2023 School Academic Year. The French teacher will be providing a well-balanced education at a high academic level to our students, according to our La Citadelle values in an environment that will help and encourage each student to develop to his or her full potential.
To be successful as a French teacher, you should demonstrate patience, passion, and excellent teaching skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Native Fluency in oral and written French.
- Relevant University qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Education with Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate designation)
- Proficiency and experience working with Google Classroom
- Ability to work with kindergarten aged children from different backgrounds
- Proven ability to communicate in a professional manner with children, parents, staff and the general public
- Proven ability to follow organizational policies and procedures in an appropriate and timely manner
- Strong organization and time management skills
- An interest and desire in being a part of an innovative co-curricular experience for Primary/Junior students
- Technological acumen and experience utilizing hardware essentials (Smart boards, Epson, laptop, tablets and handheld devices) and software essentials in a classroom environment
- Proof of a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening Report will be required before beginning teaching as well as a current Standard CPR/First Aid Level C certificate
- Patience and resilience.
