ROLE SUMMARY:
Banded Peak Brewing is looking for a full-time packaging assistant to join the growing production team.
The position will be primarily Monday to Friday, 7AM to 3:00PM with the occasional 10-12-hour day or Saturday shift. The Packaging Tech will learn from the Operations Manager and other members of the production team how to perform various tasks to facilitate daily production requirements at the brewery, including but not limited to packaging, shipping/receiving, deliveries, organization, and cleaning.
Prior warehouse experience is preferred. The ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter who is comfortable working on their own while supporting the policies, goals, and safety practices of Banded Peak Brewing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow SOPs to execute brewery process according to company policy.
Consistently follow all guidelines and routines around safety, quality, and sanitization.
Execute duties efficiently in line with the packaging schedule.
Participate and engage with other internal brewery groups as needed including R&D, Safety and QA.
Increase beer culture in the brewery and outside by sharing your knowledge and passion of beer.
Positive representation of Banded Peak at internal and external events.
Troubleshooting, technical maintenance and quality assurance
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A passion for craft beer
Flexible schedule
Forklift experience certification
Valid driver’s license
Previous experience at a commercial production brewery is preferred
Previous warehouse experience Preferred.
