About the opportunity:
The incumbent works closely with the leadership team of the assigned business unit or customer team to increase the company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial goals. S/he prepares board presentations, financial presentations, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis.
The attributes we are looking for:
· Preparation of the monthly reporting package comparing actual results against budgets, previous year, and forecasts. Provide variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward.
· Prepare monthly financial results on Brand, Customer and Regional profitability. Review and analyze with Marketing teams to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
· Review volume and pricing variances to budget monthly with Sales & Trade Marketing team to identify issues and ensure accuracy of financial results.
· Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts.
· Monitor performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
· Utilizing BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance. Support daily / weekly KPIs analyses vs the budget and previous year.
· Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
· Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic innovation, RFP and other business decisions.
· Elaborate the action plan initiatives and Risk & Opportunities to the budget / forecast.
· Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports.
· Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, pricing strategy, capex initiatives.
· Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
· Organize and animate the monthly business review with leadership team or business unit team.
· Ensure the timeline for month end process / budget process and long-term planning.
· Prepare balance sheet reconciliation by reconciling general ledger accounts and explaining variances.
What you will bring:
· MBA or bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Management, or bachelor’s degree in food engineering
· Minimum 5 years of FP&A position or equivalent
