Overview
The Lafarge Order Taker / Weighmaster is an important role in the day-to-day operations of service to the customer. The primary objective is to uphold Lafarge’s service missions of being Live with customer interactions, acting with Urgency, and being Honest about commitments. Responsibilities are to answer customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner; to ask questions and clearly understand the customer’s needs; to record and enter order information accurately into SAP. Working as a team member, promote safety on site with all employees and visitors (contractors, haulers, and customers.) Provide excellent customer service by engaging employees and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Operates weigh scales and front end systems accurately according to Lafarge policies. Act as key person in communicating with and receiving feedback from truck drivers on topics of safety, logistics and service. Assist in various administration tasks as directed by management team.
