LANDR is looking for a Data Engineer/BI Developer who is a true team player with strong social and analytical skills who will want to leave their mark on a widely used cloud-based solution for the music industry.
In this role, you will be foundational to implement business analytics and coordinate them across the organization. You will work in a client project environment with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Finance Teams to contribute to the translation of complex data requirements into a scalable schema, respectively to the envisioned Data Warehouse Architecture, allowing Landr to measure Business Value for our Products.

Responsibilities : *
- Oversee data governance and own the data warehouse;
- Be at the intersection between the data infrastructure, the devs (who are at the source of data) and consumers of that data: Finance, CS, Marketing, Analytics, Product;
- Able to do QA, identify issues, and plan how to address them on existing data
- Participate in defining the metrics and coordinate their implementation;
- Create custom dashboards and/or self-serve data products;
- Monitoring of trends, anomalies and changes from a variety of sources throughout the organization;
- Collaborate with business partners to understand data concerns and changes in strategy;
- Understand and communicate complex business concerns and solutions in a clear and concise manner;
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment;
- Participate in the definition and implementation of improved metric tools.
Qualifications :
- University degree or Masters degree in an analytical field of study (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science);
- You have at least 5 years+ of software/data engineering experience, at least 2 of which have been in a Data Engineer role using SQL and/or Python;
- You learn quickly, regardless of the technologies used;
- You always strive to build the minimally viable product before over-engineering;
- You have experience building scalable data pipelines and powerful reporting tools;
- You are comfortable working with REST, SOAP, or GRAPH API;
- You love solving complex problems with logical, well-architected solutions;
- You are well-versed in data modeling;
- Clear communicator who can gather technical requirements and explain technical intricacies;
- Experience with a data visualization tool such as Tableau or PowerBI a strong asset;
- A Team player and self starter;
About you:
- An excellent communicator: ability to “translate” complex analysis into relevant business terms; experience presenting to various levels of management.
- Have effective and concise oral and written storytelling and insights communication skills (English and French);
- A self-starter with the ability to take initiative;
- Capable of working with various groups of stakeholders with diverse objectives;
- Proficient working with large volumes of structured and unstructured data across most common file formats;
- Able to influence and work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders;
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, accountable and responsible;
- Tech savvy and ability to learn new tools quickly;
- Bonus points if you are a music creator or passionate about the industry!
