What you will be doing*
As a Technical Writer, your main goal is to develop and maintain user education resources that promote user-trial, adoption, and retention of the Later platform. You’ll achieve this through the process of research, creation, and evaluation of new and existing education products and resources. These resources exist in our three User Education-focused channels, which are: in-app Learning Center, Product Training page, and our LMS. Resources within these three channels are diversified in order to speak to our varied user profiles, and to users in every stage of their Later journey. Resources may include: videos and guides (text, gifs, images, & infographics. You’ll work alongside Later’s User Education team within the Customer Success department, and collaborate with the Product, Marketing, and Customer Support teams. You will produce outcomes-focused content that incorporates the voice and intent of our users. Our user-base has been growing rapidly, and in an effort to optimize retention we need someone to join our Education team who can align all content with the desired outcomes and goals of our users. Education is a big focus for the Customer Success team and you will play a key role in helping our users get long term value from Later.

Later is proudly founded and based in Vancouver. Our team can work remotely from one of our hub city locations: Vancouver, Toronto or London UK. We post our positions in the hub location that we are looking to hire for that role. By the end of 2022, our goal is to move to a hybrid working model to offer the flexibility of working remotely from a hub city and connecting in person.
