Job Description

As a Graphic Designer, you will contribute to Laura’s success by researching, creating and producing brand right graphic design elements to support print and digital initiatives in alignment with the vision and objectives of the brand and season.

How will you support the team?

• Participate in the elaboration of creative ideas.
• Render graphic elements using traditional tools, multimedia, image processing and design software.
• Participate in the creation and the iteration of a range of visuals for print and digital environments.
• Contribute to the brand expression by translating current design trends.
• Communicate and collaborate with Digital, Marketing & eCommerce Team to translate the marketing intent, while ensuring timely execution.
• Ensure all information is detailed and accurate.
• Ensure all delivery deadlines are met and respected.
• Monitor competitors’ graphic activities and trends.
• Research new material, new concepts and ideas that reflect the seasonal direction of the photography.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (Adobe XD is an asset).
• A strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Knowledge of current design trends, both in print and digital media.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team environment.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• A basic understanding of image retouching and optimization techniques
• Passion for fashion and a keen eye for aesthetics is a plus.
