We’re looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative responsible for incremental revenue growth and profitability through outbound sales calls, capable of meeting or exceeding established departmental goals. This role, under supervision, secures business by selling Lawson’s products & services to new and existing customers. The ISR conducts business needs analysis and develops appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities:
Makes outbound and receives inbound sales calls from predominantly new, but also existing, customers to sell Lawson’s products and services. Acquires new customers through prospecting in assigned territory, outbound marketing/lead campaigns and referrals.
Qualifies clients using value-based selling methods. Researches customer/prospect history and business needs to develop a complete service proposal while targeting upgrade and cross-sell opportunities of additional Lawson products and services.
Builds a pipeline of potential future business by prospecting via the Internet, assigned territory lists, outbound marketing/lead campaigns and other sources as identified.
Forecasts weekly, monthly and quarterly sales metrics.
Meets assigned performance factors within assigned parameters.
Assists in providing satisfactory customer solutions to retain business, working with cross-functional team members. Leverages communication from other departments to identify sales opportunities.
Provides pipeline data to Inside Sales management to assist in developing policies as well as programs to drive sales. Identifies sales trends when possible and provides management with updates.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Requires a minimum of an associate’s degree and two years of experience in outbound sales or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Posseses a degree of creativity and the ability to think “outside of the box.”
Ability to sell at all levels, with excellent relationship-building skills, including building relationships within the inside sales team and the Lawson organization.
Excellent customer service skills.
High-level communication skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Proven sales closing skills.
Ability to self-start, work independently and adhere to a scheduled plan.
Proficiency with personal computers. Appropriate computer skills to meet administrative needs: PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.
