Job Summary:
You are an experienced multi-skilled heavy equipment operator seeking a competitive wage, benefits, and a company who prides themselves on safety. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working on a high-profile infrastructure project in Kitimat!

Essential Responsibilities:
Operate multiple heavy equipment – Excavator and Dozer
Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and complete daily hazard assessments, logs and reports any maintenance concerns with the equipment
Ability to work in congested work areas
Ability to use GPS
Requirements / Qualifications:
5+ years’ proven experience on the heavy equipment
A strong safety record and the ability to work within a team environment
Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
CSTS, WHMIS, Bear Awareness
Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
Prior bridge construction project experience is highly regarded
Work Conditions:
Experienced applicants that reside in Kitimat, BC or surrounding areas will be given preference due to the location of this project
14 days on/7 days off rotation working 10 hours per day
Camp based accommodation provided for non-local candidates
Flights from approved locations
Benefits provided by CLAC
Work will be outdoors in rough terrain and occasionally under extreme weather conditions
