Summary: Supports and administers corporate policies relating to all benefits activity by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, as required, may be assigned.

Administers company benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, 401k plans, cobra administration, reconciliation arrears for employees on leave of absence.

Maintains records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan (401k).

Completes reconciliation of carrier bills to employee benefits reports, processes weekly claim payments, performs EBT accounting functions and annual ACA filings, reconciles health balance sheet accounts.

Completes monthly health insurance cost statement review.

Works with other Finance team members to complete annual health insurance budget.

Responsible for maintaining vendor relationships with all providers including contract review, renewal expectations, RFP administration etc.

Maintains internal controls to include dual leadership signoff of any plan design changes.

Responsible for the annual benefit plan audits.

Responsible for the company meeting deadlines on all 5500s required under benefit plan compliance.

Responds to inquiries and supports compliance regarding all benefits programs. Quickly and professionally responds to employees’ benefits questions and concerns as a way of supporting employee relations practices necessary to maintaining a positive employee-employer relationship and promoting a high level of employee commitment.

Acts as Corporate liaison with Insurance Broker and various benefits’ carrier representatives.

Responsible for open enrollment activities – preparation, planning, coordination with HR and execution of the open enrollment plan.

Responsible for the benefit integrity of the data in the HRIS system.

Participates in and assist managers in the development of health / wellness initiatives.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university;

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
