THE ROLE
The Premium Services Manager – Client Liaison is an experienced leader who has a passion for organizing and delivering special events that exceed guest expectations. They are a problem-solver with strong work ethic and leadership skills. The Premium Services Manager – Client Liaison understands that guest satisfaction is key and details matter.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Serves as the main point of contact for Legends with both internal and external Suites & Catering (Premium) clientele
Develop customized menus based on available items to meet the needs of a diverse clientele
Assists The Blue Jays Sales Team to sell and manage group food & beverage packages for the venue’s premium spaces and private Suites
Review all event details with the Culinary and Operations Teams to ensure client expectations are being met including menu planning and communicating service standards
Stay up to date with industry trends and works with Culinary team to develop and implement innovative menu concepts
Assist with the smooth operation of all premium catering and private Suites functions
Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring guest expectations are being exceeded
Attend weekly Event and Hospitality leadership meetings
Develop a strong relationship with The Blue Jays Sales Team
Work with the Accounting team to ensure all accounts receivable are kept current
Complete other duties as assigned by Management
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s Degree, Hospitality Management degree preferred
2-5 Years of Management experience in Catering, Banquets, Events, or Hospitality Sales
Ability to communicate effectively with other departments on behalf of the Premium team
Must be customer service oriented with the ability to communicate effectively with client representatives and guests in a positive and professional manner
Must be able to take direction, perform essential functions and delegate responsibilities
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Must have excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
Must possess strong organizational skills
Ability to be calm in stressful situations while keeping a smile
Willingness to work the hours and flexible shifts associated with a busy stadium environment
Knowledge of the appropriate menu items and service standards
