What Opportunity Awaits?
Libro is growing, and we are looking for a passionately accountable full-time Relationship Manager (Business Banking) to support a portfolio in our Waterloo Region .
This experienced sales position focuses on activities related to the profitable attraction, maintenance and coaching of commercial and agriculture customers/Owners within in a financial portfolio. As a strong relationship builder, the successful candidate will work with a Credit Analyst to provide a comprehensive approach based on financial and industry experience, to proactively offer creative ideas and solutions to enhance Owner value. Cultivate and expand relationships with existing customer/Owners by identifying and referring opportunities to all segments and attract new customer/Owners who value co-operative banking.
This mobile position offers opportunity for flexible work from home arrangements and work schedules while supporting customers/Owners and prospects.
What you will do – Could this be you?
Provide advice and dedicated credit expertise to a portfolio of agriculture and commercial accounts. Focusing on the needs of the customer/Owner, develop strong relationships that are based on understanding the business, and providing specialized solutions to support their business goals and objectives (including credit and cash management). Support customer/Owners with approximate borrowing needs between $250,000 – $3MM.
Utilize effective sales management practices to identify new and prospective customer/Owners to Libro, build and maintain strong relationships with customer/Owners; prospects; and centers of influence, and uncover opportunities for referrals to other staff. Develop and execute an individual business plan that provides specific goals and targets aligned with brand, regional, and corporate plans.
Be responsible for being risk aware of Owner account activity and to maintain accurate account information. Adhere to applicable lending processes, policies, and regulatory requirements. Utilize approved tools to ensure strong credit underwriting with concise recommendations which identify and mitigate material risks.
What could you bring? The Epic Human we are looking for;
A minimum of 2- 3 years of commercial or agricultural experience within a financial institution.
Hold a university degree with related courses in the area of business finance or agriculture, with work experience of 7-9 years.
Understand business concepts including detailed analysis of financial statements.
Demonstrate ability to be proactive in a sales environment with the ability to work independently, prioritize duties and handle problem resolution.
