The opportunity:
Reporting to the Team Leader of iCBT and using the LifeWorks’ platform and online tool, you will offer interactive cognitive behavioural therapy (iCBT) to an Indigenous clientele dealing with various difficulties. Video-counselling may be an adjunct modality of this service, offered as needed.

Who we are looking for:

Master’s degree in Counselling, Social Work or related field;

Registration with the OPQ or OTSTCFQ is required;

Post-graduate counselling experience with the Indigenous population in a clinical setting is requried;

Experience delivering CBT through any modality (e.g. virtual, in person);

Experience providing therapy to adults struggling with mood disorders;

Aptitude to manage crisis or high-risk situations;

Experience working with trauma and addiction is an asset;

Capacity to evaluate any addiction and co-morbid conditions is an asset;

Computer skills (over the phone and web-based video-conferencing);

Reliable high-speed internet is required.
