Parcours d’enfant :
Parcours d’enfant by LifeWorks is a private clinic working with families, schools and daycares to help children/teens reach their full potential. You will therefore have the opportunity to work with a varied clientele, depending on your interests and work experience.
We are looking for a new member to join our precious team of resource teachers. If you have good people skills, a desire to learn and get involved in what you do and a sense of initiative, Parcours d’enfant is the place you need to reach your full potential.

An interdisciplinary practice in a large dynamic team (speech therapists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, psychoeducators, occupational therapists & psychosocial workers, SET and child psychiatrist);
Access to a very large quantity of up-to-date psychoeducational material (games, tools, books, questionnaires, intervention programs, standardized measuring instruments);
Costs related to professional liability insurance are covered by the employer.
What you would do :
Provide remedial education support to a school clientele in settings and in our Parcours d’enfant clinics;
Identify and assess learning difficulties in French (oral and written) as well as difficulties in logical-mathematical reasoning;
Develop and review individual development plans for each student;
Offer a parental guidance service;
Work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team;
Use the appropriate remedial tools and technologies for each student.
What we are looking for :
Teaching certificate as issued by the Ministry of Education, Recreation and Sport of Quebec;
Someone who has good interpersonal skills, a sense of initiative and autonomy, good organization, an ability to manage the unexpected, transparent and respectful communication;
Ability to travel to daycare and/or school settings;
French/English bilingualism (considered an asset).
