Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Translation, the incumbent translates various texts from English to French pertaining to the fields of expertise of the company and carries out terminology research necessary to deliver quality French documents.
Responsibilities
Perform English to French translations (documents, app interfaces) while conveying as closely as possible the content and style of the source text.
Ask questions to our internal customers and confirm understanding with them, perform terminology research and make suggestions to the reviewers for creating or maintaining terminology entries.
Further their professional development by completing internal or external trainings.
Professional Experience and Education
High School Diploma or GED
College certificate/Diploma.
Bachelor Degree in translation or languages preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of directly related work experience in translation.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams.
