LIFTco is a Locally owned business that has quickly gained footing in the GTA lift equipment industry. We specialize in lift equipment rentals – scissor lifts, forklifts, boom lifts, etc. There is currently an opportunity to join our growing team as a receptionist/data entry clerk.
Job Purpose:
· The receptionist/data entry clerk is responsible for handling clerical and administrative tasks in our office. You will be answering incoming phone calls and e-mails, as well as managing files, updating paperwork, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands.
· The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail and in person.
· Screen phone calls, redirect calls, and take messages
· Input and maintain customer information on our central database.
· Assist the Office Manager with data entry on QuickBooks, such as generating invoices.
· Anticipate the needs of others to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
· Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis
· Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a receptionist/data entry clerk or in a similar field preferred.
· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook in particular).
· Attention to detail and strong communication skills is highly valued.
· High school diploma associated degree an asset.
· Experience with QuickBooks a strong asset
Work schedule: 8am – 4pm, Monday through Friday.
