As the Accounts Receivable & Payments Specialist you’ll play an integral role in leading the billing and receivables function while supporting our Finance team!

What You’ll be Doing:

• Overseeing the automated collections process and owning our internal collections dashboard, including following up on outstanding customer payments via phone and email, and deactivating accounts to prompt payment
• Managing billing support cases related to customer subscriptions, payments, payment plans & ad-hoc requests (amendments, payment plans, invoices, credits, & other billing system related issues/items) generated by our internal Customer Success teams
• Timely processing of refunds, updating complex billing profiles, updating customer information & troubleshooting billing issues
• Manage incoming customer calls and billing inquiries
• Churning and offboarding customers who have canceled subscriptions due to no payment
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collection of payment on outstanding invoices
• Encouraging knowledge sharing and supporting team members with existing processes/practices along with any changes to align with best practices
• Managing and reconciling customer manual payments
• Ensuring the customer has an amazing Lillio experience overall!

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience managing billing systems (Zuora experience an asset)
• Proficiency with Salesforce an asset
• Post-secondary education (or equivalent work experience)
• 2 years of full-time experience
• Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate apps & software easily
• Strong interpersonal & verbal communication skills
• Active listening & problem solving skills
• Ability to build relationships and connect with people easily
• Exceptionally organized
• Ability to manage and deescalate difficult situations & conversations
