Responsibilities:

• Responsible for directing and overseeing the company’s HR plans;
• Support the overall strategy and company mission;
• Create a great working environment across the entire company ( corporate, warehouse, retail, etc.);
• Collaborate with Management to develop, enhance, facilitate and execute HR programs related to engagement, retention, talent acquisition, workforce planning, leadership and development;
• Create and deliver briefings to executives;
• Oversee an organization’s recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes;
• Plan employee benefit, payroll, health and safety programs;
• Facilitate and monitor the implementation of standardized human resource processes;
• Adhere to all internal policies and legal standards;
• Effectively structure benefits programs to attract and retain top talent;
• Work with technical teams to design, integrate and implement human resource software systems for better efficiency;
• Recommend new and improved measures for performance evaluations;
• Implement a new training program, update manuals and monitor results;
• Re-engineer processes to ensure maximum efficiency;
• Ensure all procedures comply with regulations and best practices;
• Analyze the effectiveness of HR operations and policies;
• Prepare reports for the CEO using business metrics and KPIs;
• Training, development and career growth opportunity.

• Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields;
• Previous experience working as an HR Director for 8-10+ years;
• In-depth knowledge about Human Resource Processes, employment legislation, and legal regulations;
• Understanding and proven experience with Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing strategies;
• Experience in strategic planning and implementation;
• Ability to use metrics and analytics;
• Excellent knowledge of all aspects of HR management including training;
• Experience with HR tools and recruiting software;
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
• Bilingual in both official languages;
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Retail experience (an asset).
