JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Total Rewards Consultant is responsible for the execution of various benefits, retirement, and compensation programs with a focus on project implementations, data quality and analysis, reporting, and delivering high-quality service to participants. Leverage technology to facilitate data infrastructure, provide accurate administration, audit and compliance activities; partner with program vendors, carriers and suppliers to Facilitate global total rewards programs
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the execution of global total rewards program with accuracy, compliance and timeliness.
- Research and respond to complex questions regarding program/service delivery, financials, etc.
- Champion the global total rewards service delivery model by leveraging technology, outsourcing, and automation to increase self-service and continuous process improvement.
- Lead in the execution and management of total rewards programs to align with ongoing strategic initiatives, engaging with the necessary stakeholders to implement deliverables.
- Partner with vendors and suppliers to execute changes and ensure programs remain compliant.
- Assist in the design and execution of base and variable pay programs that reflect the company’s compensation philosophy; may lead or participate in job documentation, job evaluations, third-party survey and participation, market pricing, salary ranges, variable targets, compensation policies and guidelines.
- Analyze compensation data and recommend salary grades, geographic differentials, variable pay targets, and other total cash compensation elements. Model compensation cost implications, identify trends, and evaluate the competitiveness of pay levels and compensation programs.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to the HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Business Leaders to create competitive total compensation for new hires, promotions, market adjustments and other employee compensation adjustments; establish the foundation for trusted advisor relationships in which colleagues seek advice and counsel.
- Support the global job architecture including job documentation templates, evaluation methodology, career tracks and families, requirements libraries, and job profiles. Manage job architecture elements within the HR Information System.
- Promote an understanding of compensation philosophies, practices, and administration across all levels of the organization. Create compensation materials and trainings to illustrate and communicate compensation related information to the Human Resources team, business leaders, managers, and associates.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Working knowledge of health and welfare, retirement and compensation programs and the laws and regulations (federal, state/provincial, municipal) affecting applicable plans.
- Understanding and knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Effectively able to re-shift, prioritize, and execute multiple projects and/or tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of HRIS/data systems and benefit administration platforms.
- Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to accurately collect and analyze data and apply information to executing solutions.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills; ability to proactively identify and implement effective solutions and impact analysis.
- Effective presentation and communication skills (written, verbal) with strong inter-personal skills; must be able to adjust approach to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong customer service orientation with advanced service delivery skills; sets expectations, meets commitments, resolves issues quickly, demonstrates understanding and compassion to employees and participants.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and develop collaborative relationships with colleagues across the Company.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data in an ethical and professional manner.
- Proficiency with MS office software, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, with very strong Excel skills.
- Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing in French or Polish preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED
7 years of related experience
EDUCATION
Preferred: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Human Resources
CERTIFICATIONS DESCRIPTION
Preferred certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP); Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)
