Horace Allen School requires a part-time position (27 hrs/week), working with preschool age children on site. This position requires a minimum of Level 1 Early Childhood Educator certification or willingness to obtain.

Working with the Early Learning Educator, programming goals will be directed by a collaborative team and implemented by the Educational Assistant. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of student-centered programming with a belief that all children can learn. This position will begin August 27, 2024 and end on June 26, 2025.

Preferred Qualifications

Training in speech and language support

Knowledge and understanding of early childhood development through a Reggio Emelia and Place- Based approach

Ability to build relationships with children, families and members of the learning team in a collaborative environment

Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed

Experience with and/or training working with children with diverse learning needs in an inclusive environment

Current First Aid certification, and Siva training are an asset
