LJS & Associates Consulting Inc. Looking for Accounting Consultant at Brantford, ON Full Time

Located in Brantford, Ontarion, LJS & Associates Consulting Inc is a consulting group serving small and mid-sized companies. Our office has an immediate opening for a part-time to full-time Accountant. We are seeking a qualified candidate that demonstrated the ability to deal with sensitive issues in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are critical.

What you can expect from us

• The opportunity to provide a wide variety of clients with accounting services including:
• All general ledger postings, post accrued liabilities and pre-paid expenses
• Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare, review and assist as required with payroll functions
• Prepare government tax filings. (Source deductions, HST, EHT and WSIB returns)
• Prepare T4, T5 and other T slipsPrepare month end financials and reconcile all balance sheet accounts and income statement accounts for year end financial.
• Personal income taxes, corporate income taxes and T3010.
• Knowledge of accounting software QuickBooks desktop, QBO and Sage. Also, knowledge of Microsoft office.
• Experience with public accounting.
• Dealing with tax authorities on tax audits and appeals.

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge wanted

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role, with experience in a leadership role
• Experience working with owner managed businesses
• Proven ability to prioritize workloads and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• High values in teamwork, client/customer service and professionalism
