OVERVIEW
This Summer Student is a temporary position that will assist Finance department by performing various accounting and administration duties.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Identify incoming cheques with appropriate customer number and prepare bank deposit twice a week.
Process customer online payments on a weekly basis.
Sort and mail invoices to customers.
Assist to process manual claims from patients and pharmacies.
Make adjustment in accounting system according to source documents.
Reconcile assigned customer accounts.
Perform other related duties that may arise or be assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Completed or currently enrolled in a post-secondary Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration program
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, problem solving abilities
Attention to detail
Desire to learn
Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure
Ability to maintain confidentiality, especially with handling sensitive documents and company information
Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
