Job Description

We are looking to add a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join the Silk & Snow team. You will manage the day-to-day operations of our order fulfillment and continuously assist with the efficiency of our operations and logistics team. You will be the primary liaison between the Operations and Customer Service team and you will ensure issues regarding fulfillment of an order are resolved in a timely manner. This role is critical to our operations: your work will be at the heart of everything we do for our customers.

In this role you will:

• Communicate and coordinate with the customer experience team to ensure that all daily tasks are addressed in a priority sequence
• Follow-up with our courier and warehouse partners daily to track orders and ensure the delivery of orders is as smooth as possible for our customers
• Manage exceptions and ensure that all orders shipped are received by our customers
• Analyze, investigate, and determine the root cause of issues or bottlenecks preventing fulfillment
• Work cross functionally with all internal departments and external stakeholders to solve problems related to logistics for all modes of transportation (air, ocean, small package, ground transportation)
• Source, track and arrange LTLs and FTLs to facilitate the prompt delivery of goods
• Maintain inventory of the consumable supplies used in the production and fulfillment of products for the corresponding suppliers and warehouses
• Liaise with charitable partners and ensure that donatable products find a second home
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 1 year’ experience as logistics coordinator or any similar role
• Proven experience in coordination and in customer service
• Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, organizational and coordination abilities
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
• Ability to work in autonomy
• Willingness to help other
